Greetings!
I'm Hyung-Ho Park, CEO of APIT Incorporation.

APIT is a faculty startup company based on the original technology developed by Yonsei University.

We are developing and producing the Aerogel⁺ and Aerogel⁺ based insulation paint/pad/tape/sheet. The Aerogel⁺ is an item in which refinement and homogeneous technology has been introduced into the existing aerogels. We are aimming to achieve industrialization through the development of next-generation insulation materials such as insulation paint and insulation pads/tapes/sheets as combining organic/inorganic resins and Aerogel⁺.

We will contribute to realization of carbon neutral society and further seek to become a global platform company in the field of environmental materials through innovative energy save.

Research
Experience

• Research expert on nanoporous structures such as aerogels and mesoporous materials (25 years), crystalline chemistry, materials characteristics, thermoelectric materials, electronic materials, etc.
• Various patents related to pore structure formation and thermoelectric material application.
• Presentation about 440 SCI (E) papers including Materials Today, Advanced Functional Materials, Nano Letters, Journal of Materials Chemistry A, and etc.
• Over past 5 years, 114 SCI(E) papers published (26% of the total).
• Over past 5 years, 35 patents have been applied, registered, and 4 technology transfers.
• In addition to research on material technology development for practical use of aerogel, about 10 SME industry-academic cooperation projects were carried out.
• Media reports: Daily Sports, Economy Journal, SBS News, and Seoul Economic Sum, NRF Korea Research Foundation, Patent News, Monthly Hydrogen Economy, Financial News, New Materials Economy, KBS Pohang Radio Today Focus report on nano-public corporations.
